Classes & Workshops

At Storybox Drama, we use an approach called Process Drama, a creative, exploratory approach where children learn through imagined worlds rather than performance. We encourage children to explore, improvise, and shape stories together, all inspired by quality children’s books.

Our weekly classes are held at the Somerfield Community Centre, 47 Studholme Street, Somerfield, Christchurch.

$180 per term. 8 week terms.

Workshops 2026

Alongside weekly term classes, Storybox Drama hosts school holiday workshops that regularly feature collaborations with local creatives, from authors and illustrators to art educators.
